The Chicago Rush have announced the team will be holding an open tryout for all positions including kickers at the Rush practice facility (Soccer City) in Palatine, IL on Monday, February 6, 2012.

Tryout date: Monday, February 6, 2012

Time: 7:30a.m.-1p.m.

Registration: 7:30a.m.

Testing Starts at: 9:00a.m.

Registration Fee: $75.00

The Chicago Rush open tryouts are a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talents for the premier organization in Arena Football. Roster spots for the upcoming season are still available. This is your chance to impress the coaches and scouts and to earn a spot on the 2012 Chicago Rush roster.  

The Rush offered two contracts at our last open tryout in October. At least one participant from this open tryout will be offered a spot to compete at the 2012 Chicago Rush Training Camp.

Chicago Rush games are broadcast on the NFL Network, and have been broadcasted on CLTV and Comcast SportsNet. This exposure provides you with an opportunity to showcase your skills to both national and local television audiences. The  Rush have never missed the playoffs and are coming off their fifth Central Division Championship. The team also boasts the 2nd highest winning percentage in AFL History. Take this opportunity to compete for a chance to be a part of this season’s run to the 2012 Arena Bowl.

Players will be evaluated in the following:

• 40 yard dash

• 20 yard shuttle

• Broad jump

• Position drills

• One on one’s

*Testing and tryout will be held on Field Turf, spikes will be allowed.
No metal spikes.
